Penumbra is a 3D-printed desk lamp designed around the relationship between form, material, light and shadow.
Its shape is defined by a continuous series of vertical ribs that gradually change in section. Thicker areas block more light, while thinner areas allow it to pass through, creating a contrast between brighter and darker regions across the surface.
Designed to be used with a standard E27 socket.
